Weekend Warriors Challenge #3: The Results Show

Sons (and daughters) of Scotland, how did we do this weekend? Did we show England what we’re made of?

Well, it’s time for everyone to report back in on how they did over the weekend for the latest Weekend Warriors Challenge. To recap, here’s everyone who participated this time around:

As for my own weekend, here’s a list of my goals again:

  1. Get out for at least one bike ride.
  2. Keep my daily calorie intake under 1800.
  3. No sweets!

I’m happy to report success on all 3 goals! I hope everyone else had a healthy and happy weekend. Thanks to everyone who participated for making the challenge another success – see you all again back here next month for more fun!

My goals:

*Drink a gallon of water both days.
*70 body ball sit-ups
*90 laps in the pool.

The results:

Kick ass despite the chaos that ensued Sunday which is when I did the physical portion of this WWC. I even threw in an hour on the elliptical because I felt like such a warrior.
All goals were met. I got to push myself through some serious fatigue and it was delicious! Thanks Brandon!

I managed to walk my 5k and do my work out ball. I did smoke however I was good til i had to much alcohol in my system. I only had three which is a huge improvement from my normal smoking habit when I drink

My goals:

1. Drink a gallon of water every day.
2. Run a 10K straight in VFFs.
3. Stretch after every workout.

Did not run the 10K. Decided to rest and will do it on Wednesday. VFFs make me tired :(

1. Finish A Merry Workout Pledge 110min 10sec. I spent time on the treadmill, bike and elliptical both days.
2. Tweet all the food that I consume (@shellibelly_ ).
Even the cheese bread.
3. Drink a gallon of water each day. I was most surprised about this one. I found it very easy and my new habit.

I guess I completed my goals. Maybe when I get back from field work (which will hopefully be two and a half weeks of lots of physical challenge) I’ll need to up my aims. The scale has not been kind to me in quite some time.

My weekend was a mixed bag…a “dieting” fail (or squeak-by) but a living win. Due to a totally unforeseen but AWESOMELY fun change in plans, I only made 2 of my 4 goals. BUT I will be doing this challenge again!
