A Small Milestone

in Healthy Living

I reached a small milestone today: I’ve lost 10% of my original bodyweight! I started on January 1 weighing 280 pounds, and as of today, I’ve lost 28.4 pounds.

Just 18.6 more pounds to go before I reach my first goal weight :)

That’s awesome! If you were doing Weight Watchers, I think you’d get a keyring now. :)

For your small milestone, I’ll give you a WooT.

But since I pass around WooT’s quite freely (SLUT!), how about I throw in an AWESOME, F*CKYEAH, and a YAY!

Great job!!

Even if you are a WooT slut, it still means a lot, thanks man!

Congratulations! Go find something that’s about 28 pounds (a preschooler, maybe?) and pick it up. You’ll truly be able to feel how much you’ve lost. You are inspiring!

Thanks – that’s a great way to look at it. Come to think of it, my 2 year old son is right around 28 pounds (closer to 30 I think). I’ll have to keep that in mind the next time I pick him up!

You’re so awesome! I love how you call losing 10% of your body weight a “small milestone”!!! That’s a pretty big achievement if you ask me! :)

Ha ha, thanks Carla! You’re right, it’s not really that small of a milestone, I was just thinking of it that way since it’s not one of my big goals.

And just think about it – the next 10% will be less! :)

Nice Job Brandon! What amazes me is how fast you’ve been able to do it!

Thanks Mac! I’ve been very pleased with my progress so far. I would be more worried about it coming off too quickly, but my calorie counts have been coming in right around where I think they should be, so I know I’m eating enough.

Very nice, keep strong bud. It’s easier in the beginning then towards the end of your goal.
